Can i use shaver after applying veet cream???
Thank you! This video made it so easy to take my lashes off for the first time!
It’s funny that we were told not to wash our hair near the appointment of getting our hair relaxed, caz I’ve done this to see if I would not have burning scalp that I usually experienced when getting my hair relaxed while it’s dirty. When I get my hair relaxed while it’s clean I have a better experience, little to no burning at all. When I shampoo my hair I made sure not to use any product on my scalp after or at least certain product. And yes why I think the oil buildup supposed to protect our scalp I think for me when the relaxer is being applied it causes irritation to a point I have scabs after healing and sometimes minor hair damage and loss. I understand the importance of not washing hair close to the appointment but I’m just sharing my experience.

Shedding!!!😢
🫡🫡🫡where the missing edge sis?😂
How did this not burn no way
That's so sweet of your boyfriend to do that for you <3
I love that product! It’s my favorite neutrogena product. Now I can’t find it anywhere now
Feeling "unattractive" with your natural hair is a sign healing/therapy are needed. If you feel as though your hair doesn't "suit" you then there is an underlying issue regarding self image.
The sound went out mid video
Your spit ends were terrible. Looks like half needed to come off.
What is the song in the video?
That's why! You can't leave braids for long periods. Let the salon relax your hair. They are professionals with a license. Do your homework. Protein or deep conditioning. 👍🏽
Thank you for this very informative
0:11 seconds left photo. My hair was EXACTLY like this 12 years grown naturally. I did a texlax with mizani butter blend on the right side of my head as a test and I experienced excessive breakage on the ends, my ends look exactly like the right picture, to be about an inch longer than what your picture shows. My hair was past my shoulder blades, it was coming out in broken off piles. This was in part because where I live has hard water and I found out it's DESTROYING my hair, and also it was before I invested in the "Mizani Normalizing Conditioner" which has changed my life. My hair is now soft and completely different EVEN my natural hair on my left side is DRAMATICALLY different softer and I can run my fingers through it after using just the smallest bit of that product. I wish I had o gotten that product THE FIRST TIME I texlaxed with Normal Mizani Butter Blend, I'd still have all that hair that broke off, but I'm glad I didn't cut it off which is what I was going to do out of frustration. But the normalizing conditioner has changed my life. It has made my hair completely and totally manageable even the non texlaxed side.
Not being weird but I'm proud of my people because they are the most beautiful people in the world. U r very beautiful. I wish I had good teeth still like yours.
Just to save everybody time, she’s not retaining length due to over processing and neglect.
Can you use this for upper lip hair removal?
It's nit recommended to use on the face. They have one meant for the face
Your friend applied that relaxer lije a professional!! Great job! I started self relaxing again, I do the half and half method and I love it. 13 minutes on the top and maybe 15 on the back.
I don't know why my hair is breaking am relaxed i use protein deep conditioner is the cause of my breakage ?
Is that*
My hair flourishes in twist but braids eat my hair up
Ve noticed my hair breaks alot
Thank you for this. It was great to see you actually apply it. I am going to use it for the first time today. You took the fear out of it for me. You are an excellent instructor.
Great and informative video
❤❤❤❤
😊❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love your hair journal idea, and all the tips. Thank you for sharing.
Glad you found it helpful 😊😊
Finally someone is being honest about being relaxed. I guess the research and lawsuits are a lie too? They are killing people over time with cancer. Wake up people!!
Where do u get to buy the whole set?
I've added the links to the description box

I’ve been thinking of relaxing my natural hair.. and just stretching my relaxers . My beautician trims my hair 3 times a year or dust my ends as needed. I drink plenty of water and usually wear my hair in a well protected quick weave or sew in..
Lol, I'm thinking of doing the opposite. I haven't announced on my channel yet but I'm currently transitioning to natural hair. Sounds like we are all switching lol
She did a great job on the cut!
Thank you 😊
Depending on how processed your hair is or how fine your hair is, you may not be able to tolerate single braids. My relaxed hair did fine with single braids. One thing that definitely jumps out at me is that doing braids and wearing them for only 2-3 weeks is not a protective style. The braid installation is a LOT of manipulation, and is only offset by a reasonably long period of having the hair protected in braids for at least 6 weeks. Another point of damage is during the braid takedown if you don't take your time and be gentle.
You have crazy hair and you need to accept you are not gifted with what you want now you going to cuter loose all
I can’t open the bottle. How do I open it?
Beautiful lady & great video!!! 😁
Love your hair !
Thank you 😊🤎
I love your this video mami,I came across this at the right time..... Your honesty is amazing too
Thank you😊 🤎. Glad you found it helpful
Start going to the hairdresser getting wash and set with deep conditioner and wrap let them blow your roots when it’s needed your be able to stretch your relaxer longer … give up the wigs and braids for a long time
It's been very hard finding someone I trust with my hair. I've been blow drying my hair on medium heat and wearing braid outs and that's been helping me with stretching out my relaxer. The moisturizing deep conditioner also helps with keeping my hair very manageable. And yeah, no wigs and braids 😊🤎
Hey, did this relaxer burn at all?
Nope it didn't
Hi, tip after seeing your video of how your relaxed hair had s setback: try doing a test-run using conditioner and oil instead of a relaxer the next time you ask a non-professional to do your relaxer, that way you don't run the risk of ruining your hair on the first try. Luckily he did a good job this time 👏🏾 😊 👍🏾
Thank you 😊. I think since he's getting better, there's no need for that anymore. We did talk about him practicing, but we just never found the time to.
Great video! Good information n thanks for sharing. 😊
Glad you found it helpful, thanks for watching 😊
Be careful with the pins. They can snatch your hair out.
Haha yeah, I was worried about that. Thanks 😊
My hair breaks off at the back like just above the nape in a circle it only happens when I sleep with it out, I have to loosely braid it every night if I don't have a protective style
I can't remember the last time I slept without a sleeping (satin) cap. I also only use silk/satin pillowcases.
@@itsMayama use REAL silk and get that normalizing conditioner and use it as a leave in. it's a game changer.
Thanks for tips and getting straight to the point. I've been going to salon every 2 weeks since June 2022. It's breaking badly now but has seemed to b thinning all along. My 3rd Design Essentials relaxer. Literally it's breaking in areas all over to very short pieces. I die neurofeedback with the gel parts in hair with seemed to accelerate breakage. Not sure if I should tell hair dresser stop blow drying and change relaxers??? Any advice?
I'm so sorry 🙁 sounds like you changed relaxers? I would just give your hair enough breaks between the relaxers, at least 8 weeks. Also get a good trim to get rid of the damaged ends. I'm so sorry. Hope this helps.
@@itsMayama Went from natural to relaxer called Design. A new stylist I went too said I was overprocessed. It's strange bc the one who did my hair has been doing hair over 20 years. I liked her. I brought some products and they were expired so I wondered if relaxer could b expired? Also, had a test that had gel placed in my hair like sleep study in 4 different spots and my hair seemed to really deteriorate but it was thinning gradually. It was six weeks and it totally broke off down to new growth all over my head in different spots. It was weird
👌👌
🤎🤎
Your voice alone gives me hope.
🤎🤎
You have really beautiful hair keep up the good work 👏🏽
Thank you 🤎🤎
I love this!! I’m Caucasian and can’t find anyone to do half braid and then leave the rest straight with heat resistant hair. I love the volume too and think it would look amazing. Hopefully I’ll find someone soon or I’ll learn to do my own hair. 😢
